Located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the Mic Mac Mall sits just across the sea from Halifax. The place sits in a area south of Lake Micmac, beside a major highway. Worth noting is that it is not an average mall, it is the second biggest shopping space in all of Atlantic Canada, which makes it really important for the whole region.
The area impresses with its size and layout, so that you can walk freely and compare the available stuff without feeling pressed. More than a hundred stores spread across those three levels. The range is really rich: stores for clothing, shops for mobile devices, restaurants, gift and greeting card stores, pharmacies, cafes, banks and hair salons.
Basically, if it does not deal with services or home repair, you will probably find it hear.
What really sets this mall apart? Decathlon has only one store east of Quebec, and it is right here. Because of that, for anyone in the Maritimes interested in sports or outdoor gear, it is a big deal.
Also the mall offers everything, from fancy brands for men and women to labels that attract younger shoppers.
The food court has a large space on the upper floor and does not disappoint with its variety. Japanese, Chinese, American and Italian food are all there. Besides the food court itself, some nice restaurants for sitting and eating are nearby, for instance Milestone’s Grill + Bar.
You will find known stores like Winners and Hudson’s Bay in the mall, which makes it a good place to visit, whether you are a tourist passing through the city or a local wanting to shop. The gates are open daily, although the Sunday hours are a bit shorter than during the rest of the week.
Here is the main point: the mall does not really have a big grocery store or stores for home repair, which could be annoying if that is your need. Even so, when it comes to fashion, food and everything else for regular shopping, Mic Mac Mall does well.
The interactive directory map shown here describes the state when it was made, but because shopping spaces always change, it will be updated from time to time. Save this page, so thatyou can quickly access the interactive map when planning your next trip.
