Place Montréal Trust is a shopping centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It sits right in the centre of the city, at the corner of McGill College Avenue and Sainte-Catherine Street. The complex sits just west of Eaton Centre, and the two are actually connected, so one can easily walk between them.
In the mall there are a lot of stores. Among the most known is Zara, Winners, Indigo, DeSerres and Jack & Jones. In the complex there is also a big fitness centre called Nautilus Plus.
Indigo clearly stands out; it is a two-floor bookstore, that also has an internal cafe. One commonly compares it to Barnes & Noble, because it offers a wide range of books.
One standing feature of Place Montréal Trust is the internal fountain. They say that it is the tallest in North America. During the holiday period, the fountain turns into a amazing lit Christmas tree, that truly deserves to be seen in person.
The mall has a large atrium with bright signs, that gives a certain feel from the time of its building. Inside stands a big Norfolk Island tree, that adds a bit of green to the area. Using industrial elements as decorations gives the place a nice touch.
The food court stays fairly small, with only some restaurants and Mcdonald’s. The whole range of stores is quite good and works for clear shopping. Remember that the signs and announcements in the centre are mostly French.
For guests that do not understand French, our interactive map truly helps with finding yourway around.
The complex commonly gets very full, especially because it connects to Eaton Centre. That foot traffic keeps the place alive and full of energy.
This interactive map was correct during its creation, but because stores change sometimes, we will update it. Bookmark this page, so that you can easily come back and check the map before your next trip.
