Georgian Mall Directory Map

October 6, 2026

When talking about closed shopping centres in Barrie and the broader region of Simcoe County, the Georgian Mall comes first. Our group at MapleVia prepared this interactive map with a list to ease the navigation of the centre… Whether you search a certain store or simply want to get a notion about what is here.

Looking at the map below you can expand the sight to include places outside and prepare your arrival.

Search you something particular? The search box in the upper left-hand corner offers the fastest mode. Type in the name of the store and press, here it appears.

How To Use This Georgian Mall Directory Map

For those that prefer to look at the available options, scrolling through the various categories helps to get a good general image of the available variety. To expand part of the map, simply scroll above it while rolling. Here also show buttons for zoom in the bottom right area, together with an option for full screen if you want the maximum sight.

The mall is made up of two levels, and switching between them is easy. Those labels LL and UL in the upper right part allow you to switch between floors and observe what is on every level. Clicking on the mark of a store, you receive the information needed to fnd it without problems.

Big names like Indigo and Sport Chek ensure local loyalty, while HomeSense and similar anchor stores surround the mainstream core. Those heavy stores form a firm base for everything that fills the two levels.

The Georgian Mall sits at the east side of Bayfield Street in Barrie, Ontario. It serves the shopping areas of Barrie, Huronia and Muskoka, and it is accessible whether by car or by Barrie Transit. Getting hear happens without stress, and in the area there is no lack of other stores or destinations to visit.

The mall has a rich history. During its opening, Sears was the only big store, combined with Dominion supermarket and independent Kmart beside the whole complex. Later, Eaton joined as an extra anchor tenant.

The retail changes happened over time, and those names disappeared, but the centre itself always adapted and renewed during the years.

Currently more than hundred fifty stores and food places work in the space. The mix of tenants carries known names like Lululemon, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, Pandora, H&M, Bath & Body Works, L.L. Bean, Saje, American Eagle Outfitters and Aerie.

Among the foods are Wendy’s and Moxie’s. Specsavers is also available for eye issues if that is in your plans. That gives quite an impressive range of shopping and food options under one roof.

Customer service gets mainstream attention here, and the service has a genuinely good name. Whether you look at shoes, dresses, home stuff or cosmetics, all mainstream categories; the staff usually is friendly and ready to help. This genuinely improves the whole experience.

However the food courtyard is relatively small. Do not expect too many food spots for a mall of that size. Some of the separate retail spaces can feel a bit tight also.

When talking about comfort of the centre, the walkways are spacious and the choice of stores stays attractive.

There is clearly a bit of nostalgia in that place. Past visitors maybe recall the old Bayfield movie or those little shopping centres that were common before, or even the wooden-scented Burger Queen of the past. Those eras ended, but the Georgian Mall passed through its own renewals and updates to stay present in the current retailworld.

One curious detail deserves mention: at least one anchor store once chose to close its entry from the centre, relying on an exterior gateway. That is an unusual solution, but it does not seriously change the shopping for those inside.

The mall organises a club for members with exclusive offers, regular events and gift cards. Service desks are available locally, together with online positions for jobs and surveys about hiring. There is even a program for sustainability that works behind the scenes, which is nice to see.

Keep in mind that this list is right for now, although retail tenants change occasionally. The map will update when changes happen. Mark this page to easily get the freshest list of stores the next time you plan a trip.
